MPOWR Fishing LLC's innovative products have been significantly shaped by Mark Felling, a quadriplegic electrical engineer. In 2016, Mark took a keen interest in the MPOWR Fishing Reel, originally designed by Dr. Roland E. Kehr, Jr. for one-handed use. Mark's expertise led to the miniaturization of the reel's power controls and the introduction of the Roughneck power button with the Ability Jack, enabling users with disabilities to operate the reel using up to 27 different sensors.

Mark also played a key role in the 2021 upgrade to a 12-volt Lithium iron phosphate battery, which extended the reel's usability to three to four days before needing a recharge. In 2022, under his guidance, MPOWR Fishing introduced the Diawa 80XD Underspin trigger reel, a simpler option for those who find traditional spinning reels challenging.

Today, Mark's company, Inclusive Inc., based in North Fort Myers, FL, is the sole distributor of the MPOWR line of reels and accessories. Through Inclusive Inc., Mark ensures that MPOWR products reach disabled anglers around the world, empowering them to enjoy the sport of fishing.

The M-POW-R™ Reel and Rod Combo, now available, is designed to help disabled anglers retrieve lures and land fish. It features a battery-powered spinning reel paired with a medium-action rod with an extended butt for added leverage, fitting easily into standard rod holders.

The set includes the rod, reel, fanny pack battery, and a speed control for optimal torque. Anglers can operate the reel with a thumb button on the rod grip. A backup reel handle and power point adapter are also provided.

Developed by Dr. Roland “Doc” Kehr for his son Nathan, who has cerebral palsy, the M-POW-R combo allows anglers with disabilities to fully enjoy the sport by enabling them to cast and reel with ease.

An improved M-POW-R REEL® with new  High-Torque Gears is matched with the latest Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP / Lifepo4) Battery technology.

Nate Kehr, in August of 2019, over the course of four days of intense Walleye fishing in Canada caught ~300 Walleyes, never needing to recharge his battery.

This is a 12v 3.3aH Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery is the size of two cigarette packs and can fit in a large pocket.
