M/V Possibilities II massive 175 lb Mantus Anchor ⚓ and ACCO 1/2" HT Anchor Chain pulled up by powerful Vetus Maxwell 48v DC Windlass

Manufactured in Mankato Minnesota, ACCO is the only US Domestic Manufacturer of high quality anchor chain. All others are Imports and we've never seen a report of the galvanizing lasting as long as ACCO. 

ACCO graciously provided 200' of both Titan 1/2" HT G43 (yes that is from a competitor during covid when supplies were limited) and ACCO 3/8" HT G43 so we can do a long-term comparison. Their chain was matched with new sponsored Maxwell 48v DC Windlass and Anchorlift Windlass and new modern Mantus anchors so we have a complete high quality anchoring system that should hold in all conditions up to nearly 50 mph winds. We eliminated old rope rodes.

A high tensile strength carbon steel anchor (windlass) chain with an ISO short link that provides greater strength-to-weight ratio than proof coil chain. The short link makes it more flexible and ideally suited as a windlass chain. Check the fit or contact windlass manufacturer before purchase. This extra thick hot dip galvanized finish is recommended for all marine applications. ACCO® G43 Domestic High Test ISO Chain is stamped with G4 and is available either in a self-colored or hot dipped glavanized finish.  NOT for overhead lifting.
