The UAX is the 3rd Generation Ultimate Arcade reimagined on request of past Ultimate Arcade 2 users for Quadriplegic individuals with movement in 1 or both arms but little or no hand/finger dexterity such as some C4, and most C5, C6, C7 Quadriplegics, Cerebral Palsy, Amputees of fingers or hand.
Designed by Mark Felling of Broadened Horizons who in 2008 pioneered the current concept of a controller that adapts to the user's abilities, allowing them to play ANY game AS DESIGNED, not modified or simplified for the disabled. Mark's original measure of success was that you should be able to play online in anonymity until you win and only then happen to reveal your limitations as bragging rights!
The UAX is the culmination of 17 years of experience, manufactured in-house with 2 large proportional arcade joysticks, and 18 large accessible arcade buttons + Sip-n-Puff or Bite Handsfree Switches allow you to aim with scope and fire a gun without ever taking your hands off the joysticks!

Joystick Features
- Two large proportional Hall-Effect Arcade Joysticks are extremely durable with NO internal moving contact parts. They will NEVER lose their center point or wear out and begin to drift over time like resistive joysticks.
- Ultra-precise - joystick deflection is sensed electronically in a magnetic field
- Joysticks can be completely customized physically and even custom programmable for specific user needs or even specific games
- Joystick sensitivity and responsiveness, flipping the vertical or horizontal axis, or even swapping the vertical axis for the horizontal (if the user desires to rotate the controller 90 degrees) are all programmable in Xbox Adaptive Controller or Titan 2)
- A wide variety of knobs and handles are available. Simply screw on to precisely accommodate each unique user's needs or preferences.
- Our included unique Red Rubber Knobs provide accurate control without slipping when the palm of the hand is laid over them despite paralyzed fingers. Choose to substitute Cowbell, V, Goalpost, or even make custom-molded handles
- 3/8" Diameter Stainless Steel Joystick Shafts feature Sanwa-compatible M6x1.0 threads
- Joystick shaft extensions are available to increase joystick height
- Stiffer springs are available to increase joystick resistance (rarely recommended) and joystick
- Guides that restrict movement (rarely recommended) are available for even more user or game-specific needs: 2-way (only one axis) 4-way (two axis, no corners)

- Our unique Latching "2x" Function Buttons allows buttons 1-7 to have a 2nd or specialty function (such as pushing multiple buttons simultaneously) or send commands to your team or squad.

Game changer
I cannot use my arms due to multiple sclerosis. I was using a mobile on support in OT and it made a huge difference. Using this device I am now able to feed myself and put on make up. It’s giving me some independence. I brought it into OT and it works just as well as the one I was using there.
