Size

The most versatile and strongest ceiling track system available. Handicare ceiling lift systems provide a new sense of confidence to even the toughest patient transfers. Designed with the caregiver in mind, our ceiling lift systems require minimal operation effort. 

For Patient Ceiling Lifts - Handicare, Prism Medical, Waverly Glen, and most others

Features

  • Aluminum continuous extrusion (no welds) powder-coated White
  • Include a slot at the top to insert the optional OMNI Constant Charging Transstrip
  • Works with most brands of both fixed and portable ceiling or portable patient lifts

*Every section of track requires a minimum of three connection points with the ceiling.* Max Free-span and Cantilever capacities are with max deflection of L/200 where L= Span Length between supports. i.e. 96" span = 0.48" max deflection which would be excessive for regular daily use. Do NOT design solutions to max limits.

Standard Track 

  • Most used for mounting direct to ceiling with brackets including the support rails for an XY Gantry Systems
  • Max Free-span: 9' at 300 lbs, 7'7" at 450 lbs, 5'10" at 625lbs, 3'10" at 1000 lbs
  • Max Cantilever: 18" at 300lbs, 16" at 450 lbs, 13" at 600 lbs, 10" at 1000 lbs
  • Available in 6', 8'2", 10'2", 16' lengths

SuperTrack with Transstrip

  • A thicker profile for Bariatric 1000 lb lifts and allows for extended spans between supports in XY Gantry, Wall Mount, and Freestanding applications
  • Max Free-span: 11'10" at 450 lbs, 10' at 625 lbs, 8' at 1000 lbs
  • Max Cantilever: 42" at 300lbs, 34" at 450 lbs, 29" at 600 lbs, 23" at 1000 lbs
  • Available in 150 in lengths

TrackPlus with Transstrip

  • Used to accommodate longest unsupported spans at full-capacity in XY Gantry, Wall Mount, and Freestanding systems
  • Max Free-span: 21' at 450 lbs, 18' at 625 lbs, 14'4" at 1000 lbs
  • Max Cantilever: 53" at 300lbs, 44" at 450 lbs, 38" at 600 lbs, 29" at 1000 lbs
  • Available in 236-inch lengths

Flush-Mount Track with Transstrip

  • Used to recess into the ceiling so one only sees the slot. Easiest done when it is  able to be run parallel, between the studs. Then one only need cut out a strip of sheetrock and add wood blocking between the studs above the track to support it.
  • Max Free-span: 8' at 450 lbs, 7' at 625 lbs, 4'8" at 1000 lbs
  • Max Cantilever: Not Applicable

90-Degree or 45-Degree Long Curve Track 

  • Used to change the direction of single-track systems
  • Can be used with other straight or curved tracks
  • 30-inch radius
  • Available in inside and outside profiles to allow for the finished side of the track bracket to remain consistent throughout the installation

90-Degree Quick Curve

  • Patent-pending technology offers a faster, more cost-effective installation than Long Curve Track
  • Features a 90-degree curve with an 8-inch turning radius
  • Mounted only to adjacent sections of straight-track. Does not require its own support brackets
  • Quick-Curves require a Specific Compatible Trolley on the lift
