Compact Programmable

Make ANY ability switch wireless! Can also turn any switch into a latching switch or a 3 minute timed switch. This RF Wireless Ability Switch Kit includes a 2 Button Wireless Remote RF Transmitter with a 3.5mm female socket into which you can plug any of Broadened Horizons Adaptive Ability Switches, or those of another manufacturer. The ability switch jack activates the larger round button on the remote which you can also push with your finger. The remote contains a small battery common to these type of keychain remotes that will typically last for six months to a year. Replacement batteries can be found at your local hardware store.

The kit also includes a RF receiver which plugs into the device you are controlling with your ability switch. When you activate your ability switch, the remote transmitter will send a radio frequency (RF) signal to the receiver which then activates the switch enabled device you are controlling. RF signals will travel through walls and other objects. The Four output modes are available: 1 second, momentary, latching, or 3 minute timer.

The RF Wireless Ability Switch Receiver pictured below can be plugged into any wall outlet using the included 12VDC Power Supply. If portability is needed, an optional 12V Li-ion Battery Pak is available from Broadened Horizons.

Possibilities: Broadened Horizons can also switch enabled the second button on the remote allowing one remote to activate 2 receivers, or up to 6 remotes can be used to activate 1 receiver such as having a sip�n puff switch plugged into one remote on your bed, and a second remote on your wheelchair armrest. Additional remotes are available with one, both, or none of the buttons switch enabled as well as 4 and 8 button remotes.
