- 300 mile Range
- Low maintenance, 300,000+ mile vehicle life
- Clean burning environmentally friendly, domestic energy
- Any mechanic can typically service, no special skills or tools needed
CNG Only Disadvantage - less Stations, especially in rural areas.
These were used in the Paratransit program of El Paso, Texas. A dry low humidity desert climate means no corrosion. Clear title, no major accidents, no salvage tyitle.
We have had a professional mechanic thoroughly go through the entire vehicle and make sure everything is in Tip Top mechanical condition as we planned or may still consider using these to provide cap Inclusive Mobility transportation in the Fort Myers Florida, area ourselves. By a stroke of luck we ended up with one more than we need.
- Both have been completely gone through mechanically and electrically.
- All recommended maintenance.
- Both have all-new coil packs and spark plugs
- All new LED headlights, Door courtesy lights, and interior courtesy lights.
- Both ramps were cleaned up, tuned, lubricated, and tested with a 750-pound power wheelchair and occupant. Rated for 1000 lbs. 36-inch wide door opening, 30 inch wide ramp, 56-inch high door opening. Both long wrap deployments have not troubleshoot short ramp deployment yet Mostly because I've never had a deed for it either.
- Both have $600 Qstraint Commercial Quality spring loaded quick release tie down Wheelchair securement. any other used vehicles you must buy separately.
- Both spent their lives professionally maintained in paratransit service in the smaller town of El Paso, Texas, which is a desert area so dry and absolutely no rust or corrosion. Specifically, why I sourced there.
- Both have clean titles, no salvage or major accidents.
- I specifically did everything to my standards as planned to use 8 hour nonprofit charity for mobility transportation service while using one for myself personally but then decided I already have three businesses and too busy. It seems a fair market price with all the improvements and tuneups looking at everything else is around $14,500 With similar mileage and condition. I had a woman who was going to purchase both as a package for $25,000 for a handicapped transportation business. Yet she would only take two as a pair since I wanted to keep one but I decided to do it then just before pick up her partner was in a car accident and her financial backing evaporated cover so we just took them up more. I want to get one Sold to someone who appreciates as I need the space in our yard and to placate my wife! LOL So I listed the prices I would negotiate to would save us both time that you know where you are for banking. I have not listed on eBay voters yet or Facebook Marketplace Call the ROI website where you found it.
- I've been serving the disability community for 22 years of electrical engineer and rehabilitation engineer and marine engineer. With MBA masters in Business Administration. Have been a licensed NEMEDA Mobility slash adaptive vehicle dealer in the past With my old company but we did do enough volume so I did maintain it. But still have all the contacts and experience.
- Ford F-150/ Ecotolide E150/ Crowd Victoria Police car engine and drivetrain proven for more than 40 years both with gas and CNG. The engine burn cleaner, meeting lower maintenance and longer life.
- There's a misperception from people who are not technical that somehow it is more dangerous or specialty niche or something else. Reality is fuel is anywhere from 40 cents per gallon Slow fill at home from residential to $2 per gallon at a fast fill station. Most recent estimates from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) state that over 175,000 compressed natural gas (CNG) and other natural gas vehicles (NGVs) are being operated in the United States. With that many vehicles on the road Obviously mechanics maintain them and you don't hear stories about CNG vehicles exploding or on fire Ever. It's actually better superior fuel to gasoline just doesn't have these historical infrastructure. So the one and only disadvantage is availability of fueling stations.
- Can tow up to 5000 pounds with weight distributing hitch What classified it insured as a minivan.
- Both have small solar panel to match rear window I sourced to maintain batteries topped up if you don't use it at least every two weeks.
- I recommend installing an EZ-lock for wheelchair and removing the jump seat from behind the driver's seat But I haven't Bothered to unbolt it yet
- Used but serviceable quality marine starter battery from the generator on our boat I eliminated from the boat so repurposed
- Tires at 50%
- One rear window has crazed micro cracks but purely cosmetic. Does not affect visibility It does not leak. Had priced at $200 but never got around to it yet.
- New battery
- tires at 75 - 80% OK
- Two small 1" and three-inch cosmetic dent quoted $400 to pull out. It's a simple, traditional steel panel bolt-on that's easy to fix. But to me, inconsequential.
